On this occasion, it is especially exciting for us to announce an exciting new development in the field of international education. We are now a College!!

This is a giant step of expansion for Academia Latinoamericana students as it offers a unique opportunity for studies in Business Administration, Environmental Studies, Entreprenuerial Development, English as a Second Language, and general Liberal Arts Studies including coursework in History, Indigenous Culture, Medical Vocabulary and more. Service Learning, Internships, North American university credits and custom programs on a year round basis will continue as before.

We would like to inform you about the current situation regarding the public security in Ecuador. Unfortunately, over the past few days strong political tensions have occurred between the governments of Ecuador and Colombia, which have caused negative international headlines about the two countries, some even implying the possibility that a war might break out.

We would like to let you know that these tensions have been occurring entirely on a political level between the governments, such as for instance Ecuador’s rupture of diplomatic relations with Colombia. There is no danger involved in daily life for people living in Quito and of course there are no risks implied for all our students.
