LATINOSCHOOLS TERMS & CONDITIONS
The LatinoSchools Limited Liability Company (hereinafter “LatinoSchools” or “COMPANY”), is a private law organization, which obtained its legal status and legal recognition by public deed held on January 25, 1992 and its approval before the Ministry of Education with number RD No 1907-DREC, on April 30, 1994 and which has been assigned with the Tax Identification number 20526897162. The objectives pursued by the Center, are established in Article 3 of the Constitutive Act, its main area being education, research, consultancy and the formulation of academic projects.
COURSE REDUCTIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations before arrival will only be accepted up to and including the last working day before arrival (Friday) and must be made in writing (letter or e-mail). Written evidence of the cancellation is required and therefore cancellations made by telephone will not be deemed valid.
For cancellations before the arrival date, there will be a penalty of USD 300 will be applied of the advance payment.
In no case whatsoever will a refund be made for the cost of the program or accommodation once the program has started.
In the event of a cancellation or program reduction, original prices will be applied. Promotions or discounts applied at the time of booking will be obsolete. For example, if due to the length of the program, the student received a discount at the time of booking, this will be lost upon cancellation.
Students who require any type of invitation letter to obtain a student visa for their program and have to cancel due to denial of the visa, 100% of the cost of the program will be charged.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
The total sum must be received at least 2 weeks before your arrival. Where payment in full is not received, LatinoSchools reserves the right to cancel the program, and the student has no right to a refund.
All bank or Paypal charges will be your responsibility. In the case whereby the bank or Paypal charges us a commission for receipt of your payment, we reserve the right to charge you this sum upon your arrival.
Checks are accepted and need to be deposited on our US account from Bank of America.
These prices are valid until the 31st of December for programs beginning and ending in the year.
This price list overrules all previous information concerning prices and dates.
LatinoSchools is not responsible for printing errors that may appear or for errors in publications by third parties about LatinoSchools. We are not responsible for any differences between information published in any written or digital media, including this website and that provided directly by our schools. In the event of a discrepancy, the information provided by individual schools will always prevail.
VISA
Before departure students must enquire about obtaining a visa at the consulate closest to them.
The document certifying enrollment (invitation letter) can ONLY be issued by the school when the enrollment form and a copy of the student’s passport have been received and full payment of the program has been received via bank transfer.
OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS
The enrollment fee is valid forever. In other words, if you return to any of LatinoSchools programs, it can be made using the same enrollment fee.
Our published offers or other types of discounts cannot be accumulated. All offers or discounts are subject to availability and have a fixed duration. No changes will be made to bookings that have been received prior to the promotion. All offers and discounts will be applied at the time of booking.
ADMISSION OR EXPULSION
LatinoSchools will need payment in full one month in advance for each student. We do not provide a refund at any time for any reason as our standard policy and we always recommend that all students have insurance. We do not provide any kind of student insurance of any kind. We do offer students the option of returning at a later date to either begin or complete their studies, but never a refund.
LatinoSchools reserves the right to accept students aged 16 in exceptional cases.
In cases of serious disciplinary offense, repeated bad behavior or infringement of the laws of the country in which the program is taking place, the student will be expelled from the school and accommodation contracted without the right to a refund. These measures do not preclude the application of other measures required by the laws of each country and in collaboration with local authorities.

LatinoSchools is a drug free institution. Any student in violation of this policy is subject to dismissal without refund of tuition or other expenses. Students in violation of other school policies, be it of a behavioral or any other established standard, shall also be subject to this same condition.
INSURANCE
Health: All international students MUST bring their own travel and health insurance. If you require medical treatment, this card and your medical bill will allow you to be reimbursed by your country of origin for any medical expenses incurred while abroad.
Civil Liability: LatinoSchools has an accident and civil liability insurance policy that covers possible incidents or minor accidents that may occur within its centers available to all students. LatinoSchools is not responsible for the loss or theft of students’ personal property, for which we recommend you take out your own insurance policy.
ACCOMMODATION
The student can be charged for property damages caused either intentionally or through negligence.
At LatinoSchools, respect for others and for the rules is essential for our programs to run smoothly. Students’ failure to follow the rules established will be grounds for keeping their accommodation guarantee deposit. Some examples of behaviors that merit forfeit of the accommodation deposit include: having guests stay overnight, making loud noises, smoking in bedrooms, having parties, the consumption of alcohol, the consumption of any narcotic or harmful substance, any other conduct that LatinoSchools management considers inappropriate.
Apartments and student residences may be substituted by other types of accommodation, at the same price, during the high season.
If you reserve a shared double room (shared with another student) and there is no other student with whom you can share the room, we reserve the right to change your room at any time.
HOLIDAYS
Please check our website for updated holidays as they may be subject to change before planning your trip.
Classes missed due to national or local holidays will not be made up or refunded. When more than one holiday falls in the same week (Monday – Friday), either one day of the missed classes can be made up or a 10% discount will be applied to the corresponding course week price; if students prefer to receive the discount, they must notify us at the time of enrollment.
CLASSES
Some classes may be given in classrooms outside of our facilities.
In the rare event that only 1 student are enrolled in a program group, the school reserves the right to change the group program into a Private Program. In this case, class hours will be reduced by 50%.
Programs in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia can be combined at any time.
CONTRACT
By using this Website or registering on any LatinoSchools programs in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia you declare that you have read and agree, without limitations, to all terms and conditions stated on this document.
LatinoSchools accepts no responsibility whatsoever for cases of force majeure (according to law) or for students’ actions.
On formalizing enrollment in a program (and accommodation) via Internet, online booking or in writing, students must accept the General and Payment Conditions, as well as the rules and guarantees of LatinoSchools that they have previously been provided with and read. No signatures are necessary to express agreement. Any payment made confirms acceptance of and agreement to all of these conditions.
The contracts are personal and non-transferable.

Therefore, if you buy any course during this period, we guarantee a 100% refund of the value you have paid us for any concept (course, accommodation, registration fee and activities), under the following conditions:
The money back guarantee applies only if you are prevented from traveling by force majeure at the time your course is due to start, by virtue of
- Personal illness or illness of a close relative.
- Prohibition to leave your place of residence by government entities.
- Impossibility to complete your trip to any of our destinations due to local government restrictions or lack of transportation.
- Unavoidable obligation to perform a professional duty.
- Any other reason of force majeure duly justified and related to the COVID-19.
- LatinoSchools may request specific documents to verify any of the above situations.
- The financial costs necessary for the money refund (bank fees, PayPal fees, etc) will be discounted from the value to be refunded.
- All the other conditions set out in the Payment Conditions and Course reductions and Cancellations clauses above apply.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Notwithstanding the provisions of this agreement excluding any legal obligation or liability on its part, LatinoSchools will, in the event of a complaint made by a student against LatinoSchools programs or accommodations, endeavor to rectify the situation of the student involved, provided the appropriate institution abroad was notified of the complaint as soon as reasonably possible, and that the student exhausted all other feasible resources to find a solution in the country involved.
Any complaints must be submitted in writing and within the first 24 hours. This ensures that we can take care of the issue as soon as possible and seek a quick resolution. Only complaints made during the student’s stay have the right to any possible compensation, refund or changes. Any complaints made after departure will only be accepted as suggestions in order to improve our services.
IMAGE RIGHTS
LatinoSchools reserves the right to use all photos and videos taken during the student’s stay. Students should be aware that they may appear in website, social media or promotional material, unless the student expressly states he/she does not wish to appear upon arrival at the school.
LATINOSCHOOLS DISCLAIMER
Everyone upon application and payment of deposit, understands and agrees to all terms, conditions and limitations. Responsibility and liability of LatinoSchools and its representatives is limited.
No responsibility is accepted, or implied, for loss or additional expense due to delay or change in schedule, negligence, omission, political variances, Act of God, theft, medical, legal, weather conditions, customs regulations, force majeure or from any other cause at any other time by a student, accompanying participant, family member or heir at any time for any reason.
Furthermore, being of lawful age or if a minor with parental consent or legal guardian and in consideration of being permitted to participate in activities, trips and events, the participant releases and forever discharges LatinoSchools or activity provider, the activity provider’s spouse, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives and assigns from all manner of action, causes of action, debts, accounts, bonds, contracts, claims and demands for or by reason of any injury to person or property or death, which has been or may be sustained as a consequence of the participant’s participation in any activity, trip or event on or off campus and not with standing that such damage, loss or injury may or may not have been caused partly or solely by negligence or not by the provider at any time or any reason.
Any activity, trip or event is considered to be at your own risk under any and all circumstances with all participation being freely given and voluntary.

USERS are entitled to request and obtain information about their personal data processed or stored, to correct any information that is not accurate, to delete or refuse the processing of their data.
